On October 5, 2024, more than 20,000 TRIXXO employees – housekeepers, temporary workers, and office staff – along with their families, enjoyed an unforgettable Family Day across no less than 10(!) locations. This year, the familiar format was expanded: in addition to the five Plopsa parks, colleagues could also choose a movie afternoon at five Kinepolis complexes. This ensured there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Plopsa or Kinepolis: Something for Everyone

The TRIXXO Family Day once again attracted 20,000 attendees. This unforgettable day is known as an event for the whole family, where employees and their families enjoy free access to one of the five Plopsa parks. This year, TRIXXO took it a step further by also offering movie tickets for Kinepolis as an option.

“We wanted to give our colleagues even more choice this year,” said Luc Jeurissen, founder of TRIXXO Group. “By adding Kinepolis, we were able to offer not only families with children a great day, but also colleagues without children or those who preferred a quieter way to spend the day. The enthusiasm for both options shows that this expansion was a real success.”

More than just a Staff Event

The TRIXXO Family Day is not just an annual staff event, but also a way to show appreciation for the dedication of all employees. “We believe that investing in employee satisfaction leads to engagement and loyalty,” said Luc Jeurissen. “The Family Day is a way for us to strengthen that bond, and we are happy that so many colleagues and their families once again enjoyed the day.”

A Successful Family Day with an Important Message

While TRIXXO reflects positively on a successful Family Day, it also wants to highlight recent developments in the service voucher sector with the Flemish government agreement:

“TRIXXO is fully committed to the well-being of housekeepers and the future of the service voucher sector. We urge the Flemish government to invest the revenue from the price increase and the removal of the tax deduction into the revaluation of the sector,” emphasizes Jeurissen. “On one hand, it’s crucial that these extra resources benefit our housekeepers. They are the backbone of our sector and deserve our appreciation and support. On the other hand, these resources must also be used to ensure the sustainability, profitability, and ultimately the future of the entire service voucher sector.”
