Welcome Schoonmaakzorg - 650 new colleagues

TRIXXO Dienstencheques announced today the acquisition of 'Schoonmaakzorg,' effective as of November 1st. This move not only marks growth for the company but also the welcoming of 650 new housekeerpers who will join TRIXXO.

Schoonmaakzorg has 11 offices spread across Limburg, Antwerp, Flemish Brabant, and West Flanders. These offices will now be integrated into the existing network of TRIXXO Dienstencheques. With this acquisition, TRIXXO strengthens its position as one of the leading service voucher companies in Belgium, a sector that is currently experiencing significant growth, especially with the upcoming changes from various governments.

TRIXXO is excited to welcome the employees of Schoonmaakzorg to its team. For many years, TRIXXO has focused on scaling up to ensure the future sustainability of the company and to strengthen the sector. With the announced changes by the Flemish government, this strategy is more relevant than ever.

“It is essential for us that the 1-euro increase in service vouchers is granted to both home helpers and service voucher companies. This is necessary to ensure the viability, profitability, and future of the entire service voucher sector. In this way, we can work together to build a strong and sustainable sector,” said Luc Jeurissen, Managing Director of TRIXXO Dienstencheques.

Focus on Care and Continuity for Employees

With the transition to TRIXXO Dienstencheques, housekeepers will join one of the largest employers in the sector, now employing 11,000 housekeepers. Their current duties and contracts will remain unchanged, as will their additional benefits. To ensure continuity of support, the 22 consultants will also move over to TRIXXO Dienstencheques. This continuity in guidance ensures that housekeepers can continue to rely on familiar faces who support them in their daily tasks, contributing to a stable and trusted work environment.

Natalie Nagy, Managing Director of Schoonmaakzorg, after 16 years in the service voucher sector, has decided to take on a new challenge: “For us at Schoonmaakzorg, it is important that after the acquisition, our employees are treated with the same care and attention. We are confident that TRIXXO will continue this commitment, with its focus on a warm working environment and the extensive support options the company can provide.”

TRIXXO emphasizes its commitment to a people-centered approach and greatly values the work of housekeepers. Regarding the acquisition, Louise Arimont, Operations Director of TRIXXO Dienstencheques, added: “Home help is a socially valuable profession, and we find it important to treat our employees with the highest appreciation, as they truly deserve it. For example, we offer training, organize an annual family day, and ensure that new colleagues feel at home quickly after an acquisition. These are just some of the initiatives we take. For this purpose, we have an integration manager who acts as a dedicated point of contact and facilitates a smooth transition to TRIXXO Dienstencheques.”
